The Best Party Hostels in Phnom Penh
The Mad Monkey Hostel
Great For: We love the Mad Monkey Hostels. Scattered throughout South-East Asia, they are definitely a top pick if you want some of the best party hostels in Cambodia. It’s also the largest hostel in Phnom Penh, and if you want to relax after a long days travel, there is an awesome swimming pool and poolside bar. If you came to party, their Rooftop Sunset Bar is where the party starts. They will show you the best night on the town Phnom Penh has to offer. If you’re in Phnom Penh on a Thursday, do not miss their ‘Crawl 4 School’ pub crawl.

Top Banana Guest House & Bar
Great For: Top Banana’s bar is famous for it’s backpacker scene, it’s one of the busiest bars and party hostels in the city. Located on Street 278 (also known as the Golden Street) it sits in the heart of Phnom Penh’s party scene whilst providing a safe and comfortable environment for all guests. It is also the Winner of the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, and is rated as one of Phnom Penh’s best Guesthouses.

Great For: Eighty8 is not only a fun social and party hostel, but also a great place to chill out, relax, meet fellow travellers. Suitable for all types of backpackers, it is located near the Riverside area of Phnom Penh away from the backpacker district, however no need to fret as this hostel brings all the party revellers here. They also recently introduced an amazing ‘ALL YOU CAN EAT’ free breakfast buffet!

The Mad Monkey Hostel
Great For: The Mad Monkey is very close to the famous pub street in Siem Reap and close to the temples of Angkor Wat. It also has a lively rooftop bar with swinging chairs and a pool area with daily drinking games. We stayed here whilst in Siem Reap and cannot recommend it enough if you want a party hostel in Cambodia. It has an awesome atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms, and a vibrant party atmosphere.

Siem Reap Pub Hostel
Great For: The Pub Hostel is a great place to come if you’re looking to do both partying and site seeing. They have a bar and a swimming pool, but also their cheap private rooms are a great way to get an early night before you get up for sunrise at Angkor Wat.

Great For: Funky Flashpacker one of the largest party hostels in Cambodia and has the only 24-hour bar, restaurant, and reception for any hostel in Cambodia, pretty awesome! They have approximately 200 beds with varying room types including private rooms and shared dorms and are located just a few minutes’ walk from all the popular attractions including the famous Pub Street, night market area.

The Best Party Hostels in Sihanoukville
Monkey Republic
Great For: Monkey Republic is located only 100 meters from the Golden Lions traffic circle, which is right in the heart of Sihanoukville’s lively backpacker area and bars: Serenipity Beach Road. It is also only 200 meters to the beach and pier that services the islands Koh Rong & Koh Rong Samloem. As it’s a lively backpacker hostel, it’s famous for it’s $2 Jagerbomb leaderboard!

The Big Easy Hostel
Great For: The Big Easy has one of the liveliest and most popular bars in the area, with alternative music, live sport and music. They also have different events each night of the week, as well as being the start point for the Original Sihanoukville Pub Crawl. This is definitely one of the liveliest hostels in the area. All dorms are air conditioned, with hot water showers, individual power sockets, lockers and privacy curtains.

Great For: All dorms have their own chill-out area with an amazing view up on the balcony. With hanging chairs hang out round the bar area which is open until 1am. Make sure to watch the amazing Cambodian sunset over Otres Beach with a beer or cocktail in hand. They also have special Live Music every Sunday, 75c Beer, Cocktail specials All Day… Special Menu prepared by a talented western chef.

Mad Monkey Hostel
Great For: The Mad Monkey Hostel Kampot has a large swimming pool, a poolside restaurant and bar, and a rooftop bar with stunning sunset views over the river which is also the centre of nightlife. Their relaxed but lively common areas are the perfect spot to get to know over 100 other guests from all over the world. The hostel is located a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of town.

Mad Monkey Hostel Koh Rong Samloem
Great For: This is probably our favourite hostel in Cambodia. It’s simply amazing! Arrive by boat onto an island of pure paradise and partying. With no internet or phone signal you can enjoy everything the island has to offer including meeting other travellers, snorkelling in the crystal clear water, drinking games and seeing the fluorescent plankton at night. When you stay at one Mad Monkey, you won’t want to stay at any other!

Nest Beach Club Hostel
Great For: Koh Rong is famous for it’s very basic accommodation: no WiFi, outdoor sleeping and near to no facilities. However, this has changed, the new Nest Beach Club Hostel has newly built dorm accommodation with premium quality AC and fans to help keep you cool through those hot nights. The large open aired, wooden bar and terrace looks out over one of Cambodia’s best beaches, serving quality cocktails and locally inspired food daily.
